Tim Hall is a proud Motown musician with a passion for music and entertainment. With his saxophone in hand and heart blowing through to the crowd, any audience would be able to jam out with him. He’s shared a stage with musicians from around the U.S. including D-Slate, Nathan La Voz, Eric “Rainman” Gaston, Israil Ali, Kemistry, Kali Douglas, LaDarrel “Saxappeal” Johnson, Cymaron Dawson, and VaShawn Mitchell to name a few. He is currently a member of the It’s Complicated band, which is the official touring band for Nappy Roots. Having a true love for his craft, Tim Hall is always working on a few other instruments to add to his bag of tricks. His gift brings him peace and sanity and when he plays he’d want you to “Don’t Worry, Be Happy!”

Tim Hall is an educator, artist, and entrepreneur, from Detroit, MI. He began playing music at the age of 10, and found poetry in college as a way to share his thoughts on paper. Tim Hall draws inspiration from his lived experiences, charting the nuances of blackness, masculinity, and the beauties of life. He has performed in spaces all around the Midwest and Greater Boston areas, and has opened for artists such as Neiel Israel, Regie Gibson, the Asia Project of BET’s Def Poetry Jam, and soul singer Lalah Hathaway.
