Jourdan Christopher is a writer, documentary and street photographer based in Boston, Massachusetts. From the rows of the train to the concrete of the streets, focusing on images themed around race, class, gender and normality as well as deep involvement in community activism, Jourdan creates visuals and narratives that place you before and within situations as though in the moment itself. His photography and writing have been featured in the Boston Globe, Bay State Banner, Boston.com, and a number of other galleries and publications in Boston and beyond. Jourdan strives to tell stories through word and image that make each viewer — if only for a moment — consider life and experiences beyond their own. He earned his BA in Rhetorical Studies and Philosophy from Bates College, in Lewiston, Maine.
We’re excited to have Jourdan on our team of already brilliant creatives building the HipStory brand that include, VQnC (Resident Photographer), Nick Martin (Digital Designer), Austin Collins (Resident Editor & Cinematographer) Kimo, and Cliff (Directors of HipStory Films). Stay tuned to see more of his amazing work with HipStory and HipStory Films.
